Westin Hotels & Resorts has launched the Westin Let’s Rise Workout Series, an in-room, HIIT workout program, curated by and starring certified health coach, television presenter and model, Rachael Finch. The workout videos will be available exclusively from December 2017 for guests of Westin Hotels & Resorts in Australia and Fiji.
The workout series is designed to provide a full-body workout, featuring six videos including: two 15-minute full-body, HIIT work-outs; two 8-minute ab attacks; a short warm-up session; and a cool down and stretch routine. The workouts can be achieved comfortably in any guestroom and do not require special equipment.
The series is available 24-hours-a-day in guestrooms at The Westin Sydney, The Westin Melbourne and The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, Fiji. They will also be available at The Westin Perth when it opens in April, 2018.
“When Westin approached me to curate an in-room HIIT workout program for guests, I immediately said yes, as I know from experience it can be challenging to find time to maintain your health and wellbeing when you’re travelling,” said Rachael Finch. “The videos we’ve created are designed to inspire guests, regardless of their fitness level, to incorporate a workout in their daily routine and ensure health stays a priority regardless of where they are and how much time they have spare.”
The launch of the Westin Let’s Rise Workout Series follows the global roll-out of Westin’s Let’s Rise brand campaign, which launched in January, 2017. The multimillion-dollar campaign empowers guests to maintain their health & wellbeing whilst travelling, by connecting them to Westin’s signature programs and partnerships. From the iconic Westin Heavenly Bed to The Westin Gear Lending partnership with New Balance®, these initiatives are designed to embody the brand’s Six Pillars of Well-being: Sleep Well, Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well, and Play Well.
“We know 65% of travellers exercise less when they’re on the road. Guests often don’t have time to squeeze a workout into their schedule or have access to high intensity gym classes, which is why we’ve partnered with Rachael to launch the Westin Let’s Rise Workout Series,” said Sean Hunt, Area Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. “Rachael’s in-room HIIT sessions will bring to life our global Let’s Rise campaign in Australia and Fiji, furthering our commitment to helping guests take ownership of their health and wellbeing.”
The launch of the Westin Let’s Rise Workout Series is an extension of Westin’s ongoing partnership with Rachael, which began in 2016 when she curated a Westin Wellness Escape for guests at The Westin Melbourne and The Westin Denarau Resort & Spa. Guests at the Escapes pursued their well-being through interactive workshops and ballroom dance classes.
