Broadway Inbound, the group and wholesale ticketing source for tour operators and travel industry distribution partners, has appointed GTI Tourism to manage its public relations activity in Australia and New Zealand, effective from 1 July 2017.
GTI Tourism will drive awareness of The Broadway Collection and its member organisations across Australia and New Zealand through media relations, famils, trade partnerships and social media support.
Bob Hofmann, vice president of Broadway Inbound, said that Australia and New Zealand have good growth potential, as travellers from both markets continue to flock to the USA and New York in high numbers and are always enthusiastically looking for new experiences.
“We want to educate the travel industry and the millions of Australians and New Zealanders planning visits to the USA each year, about the world class entertainment New York City offers,” Mr. Hofmann said.
He continued, “Broadway should be a must for all tourists traveling to New York. Working with GTI, we want to reveal the modern side of Broadway, highlight the range of performances and show just how unique and accessible the shows are.”
GTI Tourism founder and managing director, Sarah Anderson, said GTI Tourism is thrilled to be representing Broadway Inbound.
“We want to bring the Broadway experience to life for Aussie and Kiwi travellers. Nothing quite compares to watching a live performance, feeling the energy of the actors and being a part of the standing ovation at the end,” Ms. Anderson explained.
“Our goal is to position Broadway as an essential element of any New York itinerary. We also want to encourage and enforce the concept that travellers should book in advance through trusted, reliable sources to ensure they experience their show of choice at their ideal price point, ” she said.
