Westin unveils bespoke illustrations by Johanna Basford in Asia Pacific

24 November, 2016 – Sydney: Westin Hotels & Resorts today announced the launch of three bespoke adult colouring sheets created by celebrated illustrator Johanna Basford, who spearheaded the worldwide adult-colouring phenomenon with the debut of her bestselling book, Secret Garden, in 2013. Available exclusively at close to 50 Westin Hotels & Resorts across Asia Pacific, the drawings are inspired by Westin Hotels and reinforce the brand’s Feel Well pillar, helping guests to relax and unwind on the road.

Niseko Village poised for prosperous winter with new ski developments set to open 1 December, 2016

18 October 2016: YTL Hotels’ Niseko Village on the island of Hokkaido in the north-east of Japan, is gearing up for a thriving winter season with the December launch of significant ski infrastructure, including new lifts and gondolas and the hiring of 90 international staff across the resort.

As part of Niseko United, voted Japan’s Best Ski Resort in the World Ski Awards three years running, Niseko Village has seen its visitor numbers increase steadily from 209,700 in 2009 to 484,330 room nights in 2015. To support the growing visitation of the resort, YTL Hotels has invested in two all-season lifts.
